The British Biology Olympiad (BBO) is open to students aged 16 and above, studying at schools or universities. The competition consists of two 45-minute multiple-choice papers, conducted online under supervised conditions.

How to Register
China Region
1. School Registration:

Schools must register on the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) website and pay the registration fee.

Students attending a partner school can usually register through their science teacher or the staff responsible for competitions.
2. Individual Registration:

Students from non-partner schools can register through authorized test centers during the individual registration period.
Note: Students from non-ASDAN partner schools in China, independent candidates, or overseas students can scan the QR code to receive the competition registration form and guidance.
International Region

Only teachers may register students.

Students, parents, or guardians should contact their teacher to register.

Teachers can manage student registrations via the exam portal.

To create a portal account, teachers must complete the official form to verify employment at a legitimate school or exam center. Account login details will then be sent.

International schools: $30 USD per school

Once a portal account is created, it can manage all three annual competitions and can be reassigned to different teachers within the same school.
